In the spring of 1997, I picked up a grocery store magazine – one of those free ones I typically end up throwing away. However, my eye caught a headline about something called Feng Shui. Not knowing what that was, I read an article that said I could change my life by moving this, adding that, and by using my mind and my feelings to determine what the “it” is I wanted.   I was making a living as a bookkeeper and the thought of changing my life was indeed the “it” I was looking for. 

I was hooked and knew I had to master the ancient art of placement called Feng Shui.

I took a class from the author of the article, studied locally for a year and a half and then went on the study with a few of the current Feng Shui Masters. I read and outlined every book I could find and subsequently compiled the outlined data. I had heard the call of Feng Shui and I answered with passion.

It took about five years of study for me to believe I knew the left-brain or placement aspect of Feng Shui.  Next to awaken the right-side or intuitive-side of my brain, I began to study dousing.  At the same time, I started my own business as a window covering designer.  My years of bookkeeping experience and my knowledge of Feng Shui enabled me to keep it on track and 20 years later it is still going strong.

Yet, throughout these 20 years I continually “felt” something was still missing:  the right-brain side of Feng Shui was still calling to me.  In 2019 I took another jump off the diving board and enrolled in a year long certification course.  In May of 2019 I became a “Certified House Whisperer.”
